A Job Well Done!

Osama Bin Laden is dead!

A special US clandestine ground strike has killed the Al-Qaeda leader in a mansion in Pakistan. His body is in US custody, and DNA tests have confirmed its identity.
US President Obama has just made the announcement...he made it clear that this is not part of a battle against Islam - that indeed there has never been any battle against that religion, but merely against those who have twisted its words to motivate others to kill in its name.
Of course, the death of Bin Laden does not mean the fight is over - there will be others to take his place, but it is a significant loss to the terrorist organisation.
Winston Churchill's famous words from 1942 are just as appropriate today:
"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
