Apocalypse Soon?

A classic...
Dozens of dead birds in Sweden, hundreds of dead schnapper in NZ, thousands of dead blackbirds dropping from the sky in Arkansas, USA.
Could this be the biblical end-of-days... or coincidence fuelling wild speculation?
Other sudden animal deaths being reported furiously around the world this week incl.: Arkansas, USA - thousands of fish washed ashore. Louisiana, USA - another 500 blackbirds found dead. Chesapeake Bay, USA - 2 million fish estimated dead. Kent, UK - 40,000 crabs dead on the coast. Dead fish are also washing up on the Dominican Republic/Haiti border and in Sydney, Brazil and Wales.
A puzzle...
A Christian group is warning the end is nigh - very, very nigh! Could their Judgment Day date (May 21, 2011) be correct? Or perhaps this is a lead-up to the 2012 Mayan big bang theory. Conspiracy theorists: start your engines.
But first a word of caution: sudden bird deaths occur more often than you'd think. About 500 million-1 billion birds are killed every year and mass deaths have happened about 16 times in the past 20 years. And let's never forget the "fish falling from the sky" phenomenon.
Y'know, the cause could be human: fireworks, toxic chemicals, powerlines...or even natural: cold weather stress, avian flu, toxic algae bloom. Then there're knowledgable scientific explanations: when ya don't know, trying spinning yarns like blunt force trauma, solar flaring, mass animal suicide. WTF???
A laugh!
I personally reckon it's the return of that ancient Sumerian god, Gozer the Gozerian: once more we must enlist Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler with their proton guns to save the day! Well, they did re-run "Ghostbusters" on The Comedy Channel this week...what, y'think it was just a coincidence, huh???

Helllooooo New Zealand!
I work for the PeaceJam Foundation [www.peacejam.org] and we have been working with Mayan Nobel Peace Laureate Rigoberta Menchu Tum for 15 years.
We recently completed a documentary called "2012: The True Mayan Prophecy" (49 minutes) and it features actual Mayans including Rigoberta Menchu Tum - the 1992 Nobel Peace Laureate. Everyone puts words in Mayan's mouths but what did they really say? Not only do we have Rigoberta delivering the truth, but her Elders and Shamans, too. The doc also features the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu speaking of what 2012 will bring us. Answers can be found here www.westword.com/mayan2012prophecy.
Each view of this documentary costs USD $1.99. The money raised will benefit the PeaceJam Foundation and the Rigoberta Menchu Tum Foundation.

Can you let your readership know about this?

Thanks!
